Ashtanga Led Full Primary

This class is taught by:

Jordan Turner

Jordan has spent most of the past 10 years in Europe and Asia. He initially left Australia to seek out creative inspiration in Europe, Morocco and India, but his focus shifted primarily to the study and practice of Ashtanga Yoga after first entering the Mysore room in London, early 2010.

That year, he made his first trip to Mysore. He has returned most years since, where he is working on the Advanced A series with his teacher, Sharath Jois.

Jordan stayed 4 years in London, where he practiced under the daily guidance of Certified teacher Hamish Hendry, and assisted Brett Porzio at TriYoga, Soho.

In February 2015, Jordan received Sharath's blessing to teach, granting him Level 2 Authorisation. He has since taught throughout Europe, New York City, Tel Aviv, Guatemala, and Jakarta.
Jordan experiences the practice as a deep mind/body therapy, a devotional offering and a roadmap for living.

Jordan has now come full circle, returning home to Sydney to continue his exploration of Fine Art, and share the practice through his honest, practical experience, teaching in the clear tradition of Sri. K Pattabhi Jois.
Ashtanga Led Classes will follow the Primary Series from the tradition of Pattabhi Jois.
This class is fast paced, dynamic and challenging however, over time, as familiarity with the sequence grows, students will find the rhythm more meditative.
More suitable for students with some yoga experience (one month of recent regular Ashtanga Yoga practice).
